- Another tribute moment at ZonaReGGae, remembering jamaican and caribean hard working legend, Byron Lee!
For sure one of the most influent promoters and spreader of jamaican music in the sixties, Byron Lee and his band The Dragonaires were one of the first caribean alike big bands, to present jamaican ska and early reggae in the USA.
Byron Lee past away, in 4th November, but ska, rocksteady, calypso, soca and caribean culture lovers will surely keep is memory and sounds alive! Rest in Peace Byron Lee..
