-Great live acts over dis weekend in Portugal, in sound preview at the show, wid tunes from Fitta Warri, Turbulence and Everton Blender! Local big reggae night in highlight, wid tunes from our close close friendly Sol Jah and Original Electro Groove crews smiley

-Nuff respcet sounds in pre-release style featuring dis week, from Marlon Asher, Jahman & Pressure, Stranger Cole, Ragana, Phonograma Dub Station...and Riddim mix, for another jamaican one drop production, Change Band Riddim. A Courtney 'Mac' MacIntosh production, coming from L3 Magazine promotions, dis is a pretty addicted riddim, featuring powerfull words and messages from Top singjays and chanters like Pressure, Anthony B, Queen I Frica or Anthony Cruz!

-Dis week new releases highlight is a powerful one!The 3rd album from French revelation No More Babylon – Roots Meeting!
For the last 15 years, dis French collective coexisted wid some of the best original reggae music, sharing stages all over Europe, wid true veterans like: Mystic Revelations of Rastafari, U-Roy, Ijhaman Levi or Misty in Roots!
After two albums released in the beginning of the millennium, No More Babylon steeped forward to achieve blessed recognition, as one of Europe most appreciated backing bands. In their live act cooperations, we find names like Rod Taylor, Tyrone Downie, Winston Francis, U Brown, Kenny knots, Jah Marnyah...and two mentions already, in reggae music history, wid the 1st ever live albums for veterans Ken Boothe and Earl Sixteen!!!

Their new release entitled No More Babylon & Friends ‘Roots Meeting’ ,is surely the highest trip on their career! All over 18 powerful Roots, Rockers, Dub Reggae tunes, lead vocals Kiko is joined, in a double riddim version, by 8 international friends, made over theirs backing band meetings.
No More Babylon sound displays a great instrumental expertise, bringing back the roots, both from Jamaican and British dub approaches. Plenty of well placed Rock style, and pleasant horns arrangements by Stepper's saxophone and Didier Bolay's trombone make Roots Meeting, one of the strongest sets we had the chance to listen in the latest times!
Kiko's captivating voice invites us to listen carefully the positive, conscious and militant attitude and messages found in dis concept album, wid the versions bringing a different approach from the voices of Brother Marcus, Josie Mel, U Brown, Earl Sixteen, Ken Boothe, Jah Marnyah, Kenny Knots e Maryse Chastan.
Released at A La Folie Music, Roots Meeting is a new chapter in Roots Revival music, that surely places No More Babylon as one of the best and most surprising European acts!
