First time released in 2006 through the original version “No More” from Rob Symeonn &Willow Wilson, dis Chad ‘Chicus’ Snyder & Noel Alphonso production, finally gets a riddim release, wid 13 new versions featuring names like Chezidek, Lutan Fyah, Natty King or Donovan Steele.
An uplifting modern times rockers tune, Prosper riddim features players of instruments like Val Douglas, Bongo Herman, Jerry Johnson or Noel Alphonso, in a well crafted production.
Simultaneously, RedBud Records, releases yet another 7'' remix version from, Easy Star Records, Ticklan.

-From british label Roots Garden Records, we present volume 2 from the series Roots Garden Showcase! After the 1st release from June 2008 was considered one of the best Roots Revival LP´s of the year, dis awaited 2nd volume, brings more 4 modern roots reggae tracks, complemented wid dubwise versions, once again wid Nick Manasseh mix and production works.
The vocals line up is surprising, featuring conscious lirics from jamaicans, Danny Red, Ras Zacharri, Earl 16, Freedie McGregor, and a special horns arrangement contribution from London Afro Beat colective Soothsayers horns.
Another surpring release from Roots Garden Records, that will surely please Roots reggae fans. Not to miss, Freddie McGregor's Studio One classic reworked Rastaman Camp theme and Earl 16 tune, Gold Dust, over a late 80Ts Channel One riddim, recovered and updated by Nick Manasseh.

-Weekly highlight presents a 2008 release, really worth of checking out! Taj Weekes & Adowa latest album, Deidem!
Born and raised at St Lucia island, Taj Weekes grew up breathing music, and by age 12, he regulary performed wid his own Calypso band, organized musical venues and was a live & radio DJ!
His desire to grew stronger in the music bussiness, brought him to Toronto and finnaly New York, were he formed the group Taj Weekes & Adowa.
2005 debut album, Hope & Doubt, was at the time reviewed as one of the best debut releases from a USA based artists.
Release May 2008, by his own Jatta Records, Deidem, meaning All of Us, confirms that we are watching to a artists wid refreshing new perspectives. All over eleven original tunes of classic reggae music, Taj Weekes brings lot of information through is soft, somehow melancholic, but yet inspiring melodies.
Social Justice and intellectual debate in order to achieve social changes are the main aims of Taj Weekes music and lirics. Plenty of present days issues and problems are the themes chosen from dis GodWill Embassador to the Caribeean, to bring awareness to crucial matters affecting our world.
Voice to all and to all problems in our world is Deidem musical porpuse, in Taj Weekes own words:
