- Going forward wid the latest Universal Egg new releases wave, dis week highlight to new releases features a groundbreaking and fasciniting debut release, "So Many Reverbs to Cross" from Polish newcomers Ragana!

If there is a label centered in the modern dub scene, dat deserves top credits for the efforts in presenting new talents and keepin' dis underground culture well alive, it as to be Universal Egg, headed by producer Neil Perch.
Starting off dis year in great style, and in cooperation wid polish label Karrot Kommando, Universal Egg presents "So Many Reverbs to Cross", 1st release from Ragana, new dub sensation group in Poland...and soon, surely all over Europe!
Presented at Reggae Dub Festival (Bielawa) in August 2008, Ragana's debut release is a surprising mix of smoth and heavy dub music, created by the 4 elements of the group. Shining alongside Ragana´s spacious and pure analogic dub approach, we find lead singer Jahga, completing in perfect style dis formula, wid her distintive and melodic voice, to achieve a Dubwise atmosphere, recalling the finest oldschool tradition!
Surprising also, has to be the fact that 99% of dub music characteristic effects presented in “So Many Reverbs to Cross”, were all recorded in real time wid vintage processors and machines, all over a well crafted production work from producer Jarek “Smok” Smak and sound engineers at Studio As One in Warsaw.
Not to be missed by Dub addicts, Ragana have a perfect understading of dub music, guaranteed straight to your head action, and plenty of imagination and innovation dat will give life to different parts of your body! A strong release wid no weak tune, and musically enhanced by the presence of british group, Crispy Horns, easy to recogzine for those into Zion Train and Universal Egg releasessmiley
"So Many Reverbs to Cross" is simply what the title states! A well taken journey throughout the various possibilities, dat dis amazing and hypnotic strand of reggae music provides!
