-A couple of pre-releases from Portugal, Angola and Brazilian reggae scene open dis week selections wid sounds from Kalonga & The Riddim Farmers, TK, Bandoo D’Jah or Jimmy Luv.

-Unknown, yet blessed, voices from Jamaica line up, wid classics and new tunes from Walter Saw, Errol Organs or Formulla! And a couple of nowdays tunes from veteran Linval Thompson, making his debut in Portugal, next Saturday, alongside Lone Ark riddim Force band!

-The underground UK Dub/Steppas and electronics culture, gettin' a big and heavy highlight all over dis session! Powerfull selection featuring bassline killers from: Herban Music, Bandulu Dub, Vibronics, Web Cam Hi-Fi, Dub Terror, Neblina Sound, Richie Poe & Seed Organization, Disrupt and plenty more!

-Highlight to new releases featured dis week in rare 10inch releases and riddim mix style, wid the new, just released (and almost out of stock!) 'Keep the Faith' & 'Rise Up' riddims! Two more BIG productions from Reality Shock Records master producer, Kris Kemist!

Both already featured on praised compilation Reality Shock Vol.1, 'Keep the Faith' & 'Rise Up' present two different sides from Britsh Roots/Dub tradition.
The pure vibe from roots music, fulled wid the unique echos and reverbs characteristic from british production style, are the background riddim for Gideon Zinger & Afrikan Simba, Prince Livijah and Aqua Livi, shine all over 'Keep the Faith'!
Words of Positivity, anti-violence and universal consciousness, make dis modern times riddim, a hymn to the everlasting legacy of conscious intervention, associated to reggae music foundations!

Over 'Rise Up' riddim, veteran Macka B, and newcomers Solo Banton and Lioness Fonts, deliver uplifting instructions, in pure revival deejay style, about the meaning of Universal Love, The Mother Land, and the needs to escape the deceiving ilusions of modern times...3 blessed deliveries in a powerfull and heavy true steppers production, in the best soundsystem tradition!
Both riddims are musically enhanced wid smoth horn arrangments and feature also, a inventive dub mix from legendary Russ Disciples!
A great 2009 start, for steady fast growing Reality Shock Records, as always surprising us wid their great capacity to reinvent british reggae musical authenticity, keepin' it real and faithful to the heavy sounds tradition from dis underground musical culture. As also, the always important meaningful lyrics, present a strong line up of veteran, and rising voices, wid someting to teach! Soundsystem british culture, alive and at its best!
