Member of French Uzinadub collective, and one of most active members from Control Tower Records, Fred a.k.a. The Dub Machinist composes and produces Dub music for more than 10 years now.
Being Riddims, Dubs and dubplates for soundsystems is main activity, is sound landscapes travel from heavy original Dub, to traditional Roots Reggae, all the way forward to the new age digital steppers!
Producer from Control Tower label 1st ever release, the Carlton Livingston “Steppers Anthem”, Dub Machinist had the pleasure to co-work wid names like Humble I, I-tist, Tonney Roots, Parvez, Zion UK or Mikael Rose! And 2009, presents the debut release “Worldwide Dub”, to finally bring dis Dub music powerful force, straight into the international scene!

Worked out over 2005-2007, at Control Towa Studio, together wid Sirhill, Worldwide Dub truly reflects the Strictly Dubwise no Compromise philosophy! All over 10 tracks of the purest Dub and Steppers, The Dub Machinist presents here several of his collaborations wid artists like I-Plant, Weeding Dub, Humble I or Xila de Barca, wid melodica or guitars, giving some of the tracks a diverse and original approach!
Well rooted in the British Dub scene, Worldwide Dub also reflects itself in the title, wid some of the tunes making you travel to the musical environments of Latin or Asiatic locations.

Presented by one of France Top independent labels, Control Tower, dis is a pleasant debut release, from an already well established presence in French Dub, awaiting for an outernational break…very well deserved wid dis Worldwide Dub!
