-Available next May 15th, from Control Tower Records, the new Sound of Reality, is the follow up to Weeding Dub last 10” release featuring Humble I.

Dis new 12”, besides featuring Humble I insights, there are also featuring’s from Coptic Sound, MKF & Dub Browser and YT, over a Dub tradition LP, that showcases 4 dub tracks, together wid the main versions. Highlights due, to the double version, from the nowadays Zion Train classic, Baby Fahter, wid 2 powerfull remix versions from Weeding Dub!

Based in Malton Ontario (Canada) 5 Rivers develops since 2006, a complete work covering all aspects of musical industry. Their release productions, the King Fish riddim, provided the opportunity to work wid Jamaican music stars like Glen Washington, Richie Spice or Spanner Banner, and Canadian local talents Humble and Steele.
Always committed to raise the standards, 5 Rivers presents now the new compilation Righteous Roots Reggae, a collection of new riddims, revealing also a all new generation of talented local artists!

In spite of the clichés usually associated wid titles, the truth is dat dis is truly a collection of tunes, inspired by the authentic reggae roots, full wid messages of justice, awareness, warning and consciousness, from the top to the very last drop!
Pure roots reggae over riddims like, Mama Africa or I Cry; modern beats and horns arrangements over Jah Trumphet or Blazing Jealously riddims, and tributes to Robert Nesta Marley in No More war rmx riddim or Bob Marley Story remix…there are definitely no weak points here, strictly Righteous Roots Reggae!
